District Engineer Emran B. Buisan of the Ministry of Public Works (MPW)- Maguindanao 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) spearheaded the turn over of the recently completed construction of two (2) projects Water System Level II with Water Treatment last Monday, May 16, 2022.
Together with the representative of the Office of the Minister, Engr. Johary N. Panambulan, Engr. Sahid A. Abdullah, Chief of Maintenance Section, Maguindanao 2nd DEO, stakeholders and Municipal and Barangay Officials of Datu Abdullah Sangki and Ampatuan graced and witness the ceremonies.
Chairman Lea Victoria P. Bergado of Mao and Chairman Sherad A. Malang of Malatimun were grateful for being beneficiaries of the water systems project of MPW.
These water system projects are essential for their community in terms of health and safety, especially as their everyday drinking water and daily house chores.
MPW-Regional Office Representative Engr. Panambulan suggested to the LGUs to create a committee or association to secure the sustainability and durability of the water systems and even the other infrastructure projects in the area.
DE. Buisan highlighted that these projects will address the needs of these communities to have safe, clean, accessible and potable water supply. He also encouraged the community to participate and be envolved in the implementation and operation and maintenance of every project to empower them and make sure of the sustainability of every projects. He also added, “The success of the project is in the participation of everyone”.
