Project TABANG Kicks-off with Marawi’s IDP
To better cascade the programs of the Bangsamoro government and reach our Meranao fellows, BARMM launched its Project Tulong Alay sa BAngsamorong naNGangailangan or TABANG to the IDPs of Brgy Boganga, Marawi City spearheaded by Interim Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim together with members of parliament and key officials of various ministries.
Project TABANG aims to uplift the conditions of poor and marginalized members of the community through immediate reach towards government services, scholarships, medical, dental, and social services offered by different line agencies of the regional government.
Interim Chief Minister urged the people to work hand in hand in reconstructing the city and usher peace and development towards the previously war-torn area.
Being the lead agency in preparation, the Ministry of Public Works through Lanao 1st District Engineer Sukarno Magongcar ensured the Project TABANG’s realization through close coordination with other line agencies and carrying out the installation of tents and structures needed for the activity.
DE Magongcar also assures the institution’s commitment to implement the construction of 1000 unit of core shelter facilities for the IDPs of Marawi and other relevant projects for Marawi’s reconstruction.
