Think Safety First: Pleasant Highways in Maguindanao 2nd
Traversing the roads of Maguindanao is now safer and cleaner due to the maintenance activities being conducted by the Maguindanao 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) headed by District Engineer Emran Buisan.
Under the supervision of Maintenance Section Chief and Maintenance Engineer Sahid Abdullah, the ongoing placing of slope protection along South Upi road was made possible with the collaborative effort of the Maintenance Crew to ensure the safety of the Bangsamoro People through infra support especially when the area is prone to landslides.
With safer access roads now in place, Maguindanao 2nd DEO also see to it that the young bangsamoro would have a brighter future by repairing school buildings to provide them with conducive classrooms.
The Slope Protection and Repair of School Buildings are part of the maintenance activities undertaken by the Ministry that also includes reshaping and clearing of road shouldering currently implemented by the Maguindanao 2nd DEO along the the Cotabato-Ala-Marbel road specifically at Datu Saudi Ampatuan segment.
Just recently, the Maintenance section of Maguindanao 2nd DEO performed road reshaping and clearing of road sideways of Cotabato-Ala-Marbel Road in Datu Saudi Ampatuan. In coordination with the local government unit, encroached structures and obstacles such as vegetation and trees were removed in order to allow future road expansion of the said national highway.
