The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has been making significant strides in regional development since its establishment five years ago. This progress is palpably felt by the Local Government Units (LGUs), beneficiaries, and stakeholders, with the phrase “Ramdam na namin ang BARMM” becoming a common sentiment.
At the heart of this transformation is the Ministry of Public Works (MPW), the infrastructure arm of BARMM. Over the past five years, the MPW has been continuously pouring resources into infrastructure projects that have significantly contributed to the region’s development.
From constructing roads and bridges to improve connectivity, to building schools and hospitals to enhance social services, the MPW has been hard at work transforming the physical landscape of the region. These projects have not only improved the region’s infrastructure but have also created jobs, stimulated economic activity, and improved the quality of life for many residents.
Beneficiaries of these projects express their gratitude for the positive changes they have experienced. LGUs and stakeholders also acknowledge the transformative impact of the MPW’s projects.
The phrase “Ramdam na namin ang BARMM” is a testament to the tangible progress and positive changes brought about by the concerted efforts of the BARMM and the MPW. As the region celebrates its 5th founding anniversary, the MPW remains committed to its mission of building a brighter and more prosperous future for the Bangsamoro.
