DPWH Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain led the meeting, overseeing DPWH Infrastructure Flagship Projects and serving as Chairperson of the RNDP-CAAM Steering Committee alongside OIC-Minister Danilo A. Ong of the Ministry of Public Works BARMM.
According to Senior Undersecretary Sadain, while challenges are inevitable, it is essential to continuously strive and demonstrate utmost effort and commitment to fortify efficient and effective coordination and communication with the local government units (LGUs) in the Bangsamoro Region and project-affected communities for the successful implementation of RNDP-CAAM in conflict-affected areas in Mindanao.
βThis is a golden opportunity for economic development in the Bangsamoro Region. The Build Better More program will help realize our goals for economic progress and transformation,β said Senior Undersecretary Sadain.
OIC Ong also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the continued support and collaboration from stakeholders and security sectors for the projects during the meeting. The active participation and support of everyone are proving indispensable in overcoming hurdles and ensuring the timely and successful completion of critical infrastructure projects.
“It is clear that our collective efforts play a crucial role in guiding the success of these projects. Your active presence and participation are invaluable as we mark another milestone. With the strong collaboration of various sectors, our aspirations are no longer just dreams; we now see a bright horizon rapidly approaching. It is no longer an imagination but a reality that will soon come to fruition,” expressed OIC Ong during the closing program.

The project aims to achieve economic development, reduce poverty, and promote peacebuilding in conflict-affected areas through the improvement and construction of roads and bridges, facilitating smoother commodity flow, more active economic activities, and enhanced accessibilities and linkages to other areas of the country.
